National Park "Punta Sal" & Botanical Garden

Day 1.
Transfer to Tela and visit of the famous botanical garden Lancetilla with its
great variety of tropical plants from all over the world and over 250 different species of
birds like toucans and parrots. In the afternoon we reach Tela with sandy beaches and coconut trees
where we stay overnight. |

Day 2.
We take a boat tour to the nearby
National Park Punta Sal with it’s beautiful bays and pure rocky
cays. It is a wildlife refuge created to protect rare and endangered animals like the
white faced monkey, manatee or ocelot. Enjoy the remote beaches and
the view of the tropical forest. We return to Tela in the afternoon.
Take a walk
through the caribbean port town or relax on the beach. Overnight in Tela. Day 3.
Transfer to La Ceiba or San Pedro Sula to continue your vacation. |
